It's been a long time since I posted anything here. I wish I could say it was because I haven't had time. Alas, I am just lazy. 

To catch you up....

Hubs and I left NL in Dec 2019 for his work. After spending the holidays "back home" in Virginia we continued our journey west to San Francisco, arriving a day or 2 before Jan 1, 2020. For those of you with a keen eye, you can see what happened just 2.5 months after we moved. COVID!!!!

The one "upside" about this was that we had moved out of our temp housing into an apartment and all our stuff had arrived before the shit hit the fan.

As fun as lockdown was, neither of us liked living in SF so hubs found another job and we moved to Raleigh, NC near the end of Aug 2020. We made the most of the move and took about 10 days to drive across this great country, hitting as many states as we could. (Side note - I am now down to only 6 states that I have not visited: Alaska, Washington, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Oklahoma) We crammed what we could in a rented mini-van and shipped the rest.

We managed to stay put in NC for 2 years. Hubs could work from anywhere and his parents' health was starting to decline, plus I was missing my sons, so we moved back to our "home" county in Virginia and have been here for a year now.

I wish I had been diligent finishing my write ups about the provinces in NL. I'm afraid too much time has passed for me to be able to go back and fill in the gaps. If I can, I will.

But I have decided to shift focus and write about the weird things that have happened to me during my time on this spinning ball.
